Want to learn how to grow orchids?
Need answers to your Orchid growing questions?
Orchid Den in Conjuction with the Gold Coast District Orchid Society holds a new and inexperienced growers meeting on the last Sunday of every month. We will answer your questions, teach you how to grow orchids and help you with your repotting. Just come along, it is free and you don't have to be a member of the Gold Coast District Orchid Society.

Orchids are not difficult to grow, you just need to learn how to grow them. They have very different requirements to other plants.

In the wild, orchid roots are free to roam they grow in an environment flush with beneficial microbes and nutrients, found in the decaying bark of a tree or in the crevices of rocks. Tropical orchids grow in rainforests with heavy rain and high humidity.

When grown in pots, orchids lose access to the interactions with these vital “helpers and nutrients”

Orchid Den will teach you how to grow orchid’s nature’s way, how to replenish these beneficial microbes and nutrients, restoring their unique relationship with these vital “helpers and nutrients” enhancing orchid growth, bloom, vigour and health.

The Gold Coast District Orchid Society holds it's monthly meeting immediately after the New Growers Group.

You are welcome to stay for the meeting
