COCONUT COIR AND COCONUT HUSK (TROPICOIR)
Topicoir™ Coir is a high quality, versatile media produced from the husks of coconuts. Coir is ideal for growing hydroponic vegetable and flower crops, enhancing your potting mixes or providing natural solutions for your landscaping needs. Topicoir has become a market leader in the supply of high quality coir throughout New Zealand and it is widely used by commercial greenhouse growers in the hydroponic production of crops. A number of leading potting mix manufacturers add to coir to enrich their media. Also the use of coir textiles for weed suppression and erosion control is a popular choice in the landscaping industry.
The brick expands to make approximately 60 litres of coir.
Precision: Fine grade pith with fibres screened below 5mm particle size and has 10% AFP. Ideal for seedlings and adding to potting mixes.
Profit: Is a washed Husk to lower EC and tannins very open with 30% AFP. Ideal for Tomatoes other Vegtables and Flowering Crops.
Power: A combination of Husk and Pith a mixture that can be 70/30; 50/50 and 60/40. Water holding and AFP are altered due to percentage of the mix required.Ideal for situations when more drainage or water holding capacity is required.
Classic: has a high water holding capacity.
